 Usage and Management of Electric Heating Thermal Oil Furnace:

  Article 1: Operators of electric heating thermal oil furnaces should receive training on the knowledge of electric heating thermal oil furnaces and obtain certification from the local boiler safety supervision agency after assessment.

   Article 2: The user unit of the electric heating thermal oil furnace must establish operating procedures for the electric heating thermal oil furnace. The operating procedures should include the operation methods and precautions for starting, running, stopping, and emergency stopping of the electric heating thermal oil furnace. Operators must operate in accordance with the operating procedures.

   Article 3: Pipelines within the scope of the electric heating thermal oil furnace should be insulated, but flange connections should not be covered.

   Article 4: During the ignition and pressure increase process of the electric heating thermal oil furnace, the exhaust valve on the boiler should be opened multiple times to completely discharge air, water, and mixed steam of organic heat transfer fluid. For vapor phase furnaces, when the temperature and pressure of the organic heat transfer fluid meet the corresponding relationship, exhaust should be stopped and normal operation should begin.

   Article 5: Organic heat transfer fluid must be dehydrated before use. Different organic heat transfer fluids should not be mixed. If mixing is necessary, the conditions and requirements for mixing should be provided by the organic heat transfer fluid manufacturer before mixing.

   Article 6: The organic heat transfer fluid in use should be analyzed annually for residual carbon, acid value, viscosity, and flash point. If two analyses are unqualified or the content of decomposition components in the heat transfer fluid exceeds 10%, the heat transfer fluid should be replaced or regenerated.

   Article 7: The heating surface of the electric heating thermal oil furnace should be regularly inspected and cleaned, and the inspection and cleaning records should be stored in the boiler technical archives.

   Article 8: After installation or major repair of the electric heating thermal oil furnace, a hydraulic test at 1.5 times the working pressure should be conducted by the user unit and the installation or repair unit before putting into operation. For vapor phase furnaces, a gas tightness test should be conducted in accordance with Article 15. The furnace can only be put into operation after passing the tests. The local boiler safety supervision agency should send personnel to participate in the hydraulic test and gas tightness test.

   Article 9: The boiler room should have effective fire prevention and fire extinguishing measures.
