Features of Air Electric Heater:
1. There are generally two types of air electric heaters: resistance wire electric heaters and ceramic electric heaters.
2. Resistance wire electric heaters come in two types: bare wire type and tubular type.
3. In practical engineering, there are resistance wire electric heaters and ceramic electric heaters.
4. The air electric heater must be interlocked with the supply fan. Startup sequence: supply fan -> electric heater; shutdown sequence: air electric heater -> (after 1 minute) supply fan. The air electric heater must not be turned on if the supply fan is not running.
5. The air electric heater and the metal duct in which it is installed should have good grounding.
6. The insulation material for the duct within 0.8 meters before and after the air electric heater should be made of insulating non-combustible material.
Technical Features of Air Electric Heater:
1. It can heat air to very high temperatures, up to 450°C, while the shell temperature is only about 50°C.
2. High efficiency: up to 0.9 or more.
3. Fast heating and cooling rates, up to 10°C/s, with quick and stable adjustment. The duct-type air electric heater does not experience lead or lag in the controlled air temperature, which would cause temperature control drift, making it very suitable for automatic control.
4. Good mechanical performance: Because the heating element of the duct-type air electric heater is made of special alloy material, it has better mechanical performance and strength than any other heating element under the impact of high-pressure air flow, which is advantageous for systems and accessory tests that require continuous air heating for long periods.
5. When used in accordance with operating procedures, it is durable and has a service life of up to several decades.
6. Clean air and small size.
7. Multiple types of air electric heaters can be designed according to user needs.
