Usage and Management of Electric Heating Thermal Oil Furnace:

  Article 1: Operators of electric heating thermal oil furnaces should receive training on the knowledge of electric heating thermal oil furnaces and obtain certification from the local boiler safety supervision agency after examination.

   Article 2: The user unit of the electric heating thermal oil furnace must formulate operating procedures for the electric heating thermal oil furnace. The operating procedures should include the startup, operation, shutdown, emergency shutdown, and other operating methods and precautions. Operators must operate according to the operating procedures.

   Article 3: Pipes within the scope of the electric heating thermal oil furnace should be insulated, but flange connections should not be covered.

   Article 4: During the ignition and pressurization process of the electric heating thermal oil furnace, the exhaust valve on the boiler should be opened multiple times to expel air, water, and mixed steam of organic heat transfer fluid. For vapor-phase furnaces, when the temperature and pressure of the organic heat transfer fluid correspond, stop exhausting and enter normal operation.

   Article 5: Organic heat transfer fluid must be dehydrated before use. Different organic heat transfer fluids should not be mixed. If mixing is necessary, the conditions and requirements for mixing should be provided by the organic heat transfer fluid manufacturer before mixing.

   Article 6: The residual carbon, acid value, viscosity, and flash point of the organic heat transfer fluid in use should be analyzed annually. If two items are unqualified or the content of decomposition components exceeds 10%, the heat transfer fluid should be replaced or regenerated.

   Article 7: The heating surface of the electric heating thermal oil furnace should be regularly inspected and cleaned, and the inspection and cleaning records should be stored in the boiler technical archives.

   Article 8: After installation or major repair of the electric heating thermal oil furnace, a hydraulic test at 1.5 times the working pressure should be conducted by the user unit and the installation or repair unit before operation. For vapor-phase furnaces, an airtightness test should be conducted according to Article 15. Only after passing the tests can it be put into operation. During the hydraulic and airtightness tests, the local boiler safety supervision agency should send personnel to participate.

   Article 9: The boiler room should have effective fire prevention and extinguishing measures.
