Thermal Decontaminator Product Description
Horizontal Decontaminator
Working Principle:
According to the automation degree, decontaminators can be divided into manual decontaminators, automatic decontaminators, and fully automatic backwash decontaminators. The designed decontaminator structure enables online operation and排污 without affecting system operation.
Decontaminator Types:
Manual Decontaminator: Water flows from the inlet into the cylinder, passes through the filter screen, and exits from the outlet. Some dirt adheres to the filter screen, blocking the mesh, while some dirt settles in the排污 chamber due to inertia. By manually opening the排污 port, water backflows to flush the dirt off the filter screen and discharge it from the排污 port.
Automatic Decontaminator: During normal operation, water to be treated passes through the filter screen. Fine particles and suspended solids in the water accumulate near the排污 port due to inertia. When the filter screen intercepts a certain amount of fine impurities and suspended solids, i.e., when the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet reaches 0.05-0.07 MPa, the排污 valve automatically opens. Due to water flow, impurities adhering to the filter collection section are flushed out.
Fully Automatic Backwash Decontaminator: During normal operation, the flow diversion valve is open, and water passes through the filter screen to intercept fine impurities and suspended solids. During backwashing, the flow diversion valve closes, and the排污 valve opens. Water is forced to flow from outside the filter screen to flush impurities adhering to the mesh, cleaning the filter screen. Due to the closed diversion valve, water flows through the backwash valve at a higher velocity, resulting in better backwashing effect.

Vertical Decontaminator
Working Principle: The working principle of the vertical decontaminator is similar to that of the horizontal decontaminator, effectively saving floor space during use. Typically, the effective flow area of the filter screen is 2.5 times the cross-sectional area of the inlet. Depending on operating conditions, a hand hole can be provided on the decontaminator body for convenient cleaning.
Cyclone Decontaminator
Working Principle: The cyclone decontaminator uses centrifugal separation for sand removal. Due to the eccentric installation of the inlet pipe on the cylinder, water entering through the inlet first forms a downward spiral flow along the tangential direction of the cylinder. The water rotates and moves downward. When it reaches the cone section, it turns upward along the cylinder axis and finally exits through the top outlet pipe. Impurities, under the influence of inertial centrifugal force and gravity, fall along the cone wall into the lower conical slag hopper. A component at the lower part of the cone prevents impurities from floating upward. When impurities accumulate to a certain level in the slag hopper, simply opening the manual butterfly valve allows impurities to flow out of the cyclone decontaminator with the water flow.
