Electric Heating Plate

1. Types of Electric Heating Plates

In industry, based on the structural composition of electric heating plates, they can be classified into stainless steel heating plates, cast aluminum electric heating plates, cast copper heating plates, ceramic electric heating plates, etc.

1. Mica Electric Heating Plate

A mica electric heating plate is an electric heating element that wraps resistance heating wire around an insulating mica plate. Utilizing the excellent insulation and high-temperature resistance of mica plates (sheets), with mica plates (sheets) as the skeleton and insulation layer, and galvanized sheet or stainless steel plate as the supporting protective outer skin, it can be made into various shapes such as plates, sheets, cylinders, cones, tubes, and rings. Normal surface load is 2.5-3W, and it can withstand temperatures up to 500°C.

2. Cast Aluminum and Cast Copper Electric Heating Plates

Cast aluminum and cast copper electric heating plates can be divided into die casting and sand casting based on the manufacturing process. In cases with many specifications and sizes, sand casting is generally used. During sand casting, high-purity aluminum or copper blocks are melted from solid to liquid in a high-temperature furnace, then poured into a mold with pre-installed heating tubes. After cooling and solidification, they undergo precision machining.

3. Ceramic Electric Heating Plate

Ceramic electric heating plates have excellent electrical insulation properties at operating temperatures, so they are not electrified on the surface, have low leakage current during operation, and are safe and reliable to use. They are widely used in light and heavy industries and household electric appliances. Ceramic-coated electric heaters can be made into various shapes such as round rods, plates, tubes, and curved surfaces. Their appearance feels like ordinary daily-use ceramics, but they have embedded heating wires inside.

3. Price Calculation of Electric Heating Plates

The price of electric heating plates is mainly calculated based on the dimensions and data parameters provided by the customer. Main dimensions include: length, width, diameter, thickness, etc.; main data include: voltage, power, surface load, etc.
