Product Overview:
MI cable uses single or multiple alloy heating wires as the heat source, high-purity, high-temperature, electrically fused crystalline magnesium oxide as the thermal conductive insulator, and seamless continuous stainless steel or copper tube as the sheath, manufactured with special processes. For places with strong corrosion, an additional PE or low-smoke halogen-free jacket can be applied.
Product Categories:
● Stainless steel sheathed mineral insulated MI heating cable
The stainless steel sheathed series of mineral insulated heating cables can meet the needs of high-temperature conditions and high heating power (up to 269W/m). The maximum withstand temperature of stainless steel sheathed heating cables can reach 600°C, and the conductor resistance range is from 28000 to 19.2 Ω/km. Mineral insulated cables have excellent mechanical strength and corrosion resistance.
Product Standards:
Heating cables with a maximum heating temperature below 250°C comply with the IEC800 (92) standard, "Heating cables for household facilities heating and anti-icing with rated voltage 300/500V". Heating cables exceeding 250°C comply with enterprise standards.
Electrical Performance:
Resistance tolerance: ±10%
Dielectric performance — Heating cable withstand voltage: 1200VAC/1min
Insulation resistance — Finished product test: 100MΩ/500VDC
Sheath continuity — The entire heating cable (including joints) is immersed in water for 12 hours, then the insulation resistance is tested; the value must be at least 50MΩ/500VDC.
