Concept of Star Connection (Y-Connection)

Star connection is a wiring method for three-phase AC power supply and three-phase electrical appliances. The ends X, Y, Z of the three-phase power supply windings are connected together to form a common point O, and three terminal lines are drawn from the starts A, B, C.
