What are the precautions when installing auxiliary electric heaters?

Auxiliary electric heater is an essential product for winter heat pump central air conditioning systems. It plays a very important role in improving the heating efficiency and heating effect of the unit and extending the service life of the central air conditioning unit. Therefore, correct installation is also very important. The following are several points to note during installation:

1. Strictly follow the instructions, provide the system installation diagram and installation wiring diagram to correctly connect the device.

2. The auxiliary electric heater should be installed parallel to the outlet side pipe of the device, so that the near end is a water outlet and the other end is a water inlet. In summer, when not in use, please close the heater connection valve.

3. The auxiliary electric heater must be heated and vented before startup. We recommend installing a flow switch to avoid dry heating of the heater and affecting the service life of the heating tube.

4. The auxiliary electric heater is equipped with a valve, pressure gauge and thermometer to facilitate observation and control of the heater's working status.

5. Auxiliary electric heater main power supply should be provided separately. According to the circuit diagram provided by the manufacturer, select cables that meet the standards based on the actual situation and connect them correctly for use.

6. It is recommended that the control of the auxiliary electric heater be linked with the main unit. The main unit heater provides a working signal. In special cases, it can be set to a single manual control.

7. It is recommended to install a filtering device at the inlet of the auxiliary electric heater. In summer, when not in use, extract the heating tube for necessary inspection and cleaning.

8. In winter, when not in use, open the water valve at the bottom of the auxiliary electric heater to drain the water inside the tank to prevent freezing and damage to the heater.
