Duct electric heater is mainly used for heating air in air ducts. The specifications are divided into three types: low temperature, medium temperature, and high temperature. The common feature in structure is the use of steel plates to support the electric heating tubes to reduce vibration. The junction box is equipped with an over-temperature control device. In terms of control, in addition to over-temperature protection, an interlocking device is installed between the fan and the heater to ensure that the electric heater starts only after the fan starts. A differential pressure device is added before and after the heater to prevent fan failure. The gas pressure heated by the duct heater generally should not exceed 0.3 Kg/cm2. If it needs to exceed the above pressure, please choose a circulation electric heater. The maximum heating temperature for low-temperature heaters does not exceed 160°C; for medium-temperature types, it does not exceed 260°C; for high-temperature types, it does not exceed 500°C.
Duct electric heater, air duct electric heater is used in industrial air ducts, air conditioning ducts, and various industries to heat air, thereby increasing the output air temperature. It is generally inserted horizontally into the air duct. According to the working temperature of the air duct, it is divided into low temperature, medium temperature, and high temperature; according to the air velocity in the duct, it is divided into low wind speed, medium wind speed, and high wind speed.
Duct electric heaters have been widely used in many scientific research and production laboratories such as aerospace, weapon industry, chemical industry, and higher education institutions. It is especially suitable for automatic temperature control and large flow high-temperature combined systems and accessory tests. The air electric heater has a wide range of applications: it can heat any gas, producing hot air that is dry, non-conductive, non-flammable, non-explosive, non-corrosive, non-polluting, safe and reliable, and the heated space heats up quickly (controllable).
Technical Features of Duct Electric Heater
1. Can heat air to a very high temperature, up to 650°C, while the shell temperature is only about 50°C.
2. High efficiency: up to 0.95 or more.
3. Fast heating and cooling rates. Up to 10°C/s, fast and stable adjustment. There will be no leading or lagging of the controlled air temperature, causing temperature control drift, making it very suitable for automatic control.
4. Good mechanical performance: Because the heating element is made of special alloy material, under the impact of high-pressure air flow, its mechanical performance and strength are better than any other heating element. This is particularly advantageous for systems and accessory tests that require continuous air heating for long periods. When used in accordance with operating procedures, it is durable and has a service life of up to ten years.
5. Clean air, small volume.
Multiple types of air electric heaters can be designed according to user needs.
Single unit power ranges from 2KW to 2000KW series.
(Duct electric heater products can be customized according to customer requirements, providing drawings, voltage, power, dimensions.)
Usage Instructions:
Control Aspects: An interlocking device should be installed between the fan and the heater to ensure the heater starts only after the fan is operating. After the heater stops, the fan must continue to run for at least 3 minutes to prevent overheating and damage to the heater. In terms of single circuit wiring, it must comply with NEC standards. The current of each branch circuit must not exceed 48A. The gas pressure heated by the duct heater generally does not exceed 0.3 kg/cm2. If it exceeds the above pressure specification, please choose a circulation heater.
