Air radiators use high-efficiency finned tubes as heat transfer elements, with steam and other fluids (heat transfer oil, water, etc.) as one working medium and air as the other. Through enhanced heat transfer of finned tubes, they achieve heating or cooling of the medium inside the tubes, or use the medium inside the tubes to heat or cool the air.
Since air radiators are the most suitable equipment for vapor-to-vapor and liquid-to-vapor heat exchange, they have been widely used in various industrial and civil fields such as warm air heating, air conditioning, cooling, dehumidification, and drying. Main materials of finned tubes: copper series (copper tube copper fin), steel series (steel tube steel fin), steel-aluminum composite series (steel tube aluminum fin), stainless steel series, copper-aluminum laminated series. Main processing methods of finned tubes: mechanical winding followed by overall galvanizing (tin plating), bimetallic (steel-aluminum, copper-aluminum composite) sleeve rolling, finned tube galvanizing, and hydraulic expansion of finned tubes.
1. Can heat air to very high temperatures, up to 850°C, with the shell temperature only around 50°C.
2. High efficiency: up to 0.9 or above.
3. Clean air, small size.
4. Multiple types can be designed according to user needs.
5. Durable and long-lasting, with a service life of up to several decades when used in accordance with operating procedures.
6. Fast heating and cooling rates, up to 10°C/s, with quick and stable adjustment. There is no lead or lag in the controlled air temperature, preventing temperature control drift, making it very suitable for automatic control.
7. Good mechanical performance: because the heating element is made of special alloy material, under the impact of high-pressure air flow, its mechanical performance and strength are better than any other heating element. This is particularly advantageous for systems and accessory tests that require continuous air heating over long periods.
