For many years, domestic wood veneer drying has basically used steam and infrared as heat transfer carriers. After comparison, electric far-infrared as a heat source has an energy cost 10 times that of coal, which is very expensive. Although coal-fired steam boilers are cheaper than electric energy, they have many drawbacks in use, such as excessive heat loss, the need to add a large amount of cold water, insufficient energy utilization, and auxiliary equipment (heat exchangers) being susceptible to water quality corrosion, affecting their service life.
