6Hp/12Kw Oil Cooler Intercooler Plate Heat Exchanger Evaporative Condenser Refrigeration ECN06B

The brazed plate heat exchanger is an upgrade of the gasketed plate heat exchanger. It is composed of front and rear end plates and herringbone corrugated plates. The corrugation angles of adjacent plates are opposite, and the peaks of the corrugations cross each other to form numerous contact points. Through vacuum brazing, the brazing material melts and forms an alloy with the base material, turning every contact point between plates into a brazed joint, which enhances both the strength and heat transfer efficiency of the heat exchanger.

Flow Principle

Brazed heat exchangers used in refrigeration follow this basic flow principle: parallel flow or diagonal flow is adopted to achieve the most efficient heat exchange process. In single-pass design, all connections are located on one side of the heat exchanger, which is very convenient for installation.

Condenser – Flow Principle

The main components are the same as those of the evaporator. The hot gas coolant is introduced from the upper left of the heat exchanger, then begins to condense on the pipe surface until fully condensed, and then undergoes slight subcooling. This process is called "free condensation." In the condenser diagram, light blue and dark blue arrows indicate the brine connection positions. The coolant flows countercurrently in the opposite pipes and is cooled. Light red and dark red arrows indicate the coolant connection positions.
