（1）HorizontalHorizontal explosion-proof electric heater isinstalled horizontally, with the outlet vertically upward. Both the inlet front and outlet rear require a straight pipe section of at least 0.3 meters, and a bypass pipeline should be added. This is to facilitate inspection and seasonal operation of the electric heater.

（2）Before installation of the electric heater,use a 500V megger to measure the insulation resistance between the main terminal and the housing. The insulation resistance should be ≥1.5MΩ, and for marine electric heaters, it should be ≥10MΩ. Also check the heater body and components for any damage.

（3）The control cabinet produced by our factory is non-explosion-proof equipment. It should be installed outside the hazardous area (safe area). During installation, conduct a comprehensive inspection and correctly connect the wiring.

（4）Electrical wiring must comply with explosion-proof requirements. Cables should be copper-core wires and connected using terminal lugs.

（5）The electric heater is equipped with a dedicated grounding bolt. The user should securely connect the grounding wire to this bolt. The grounding wire should be stranded copper wire of at least 4mm², and the grounding resistance should not exceed 4Ω.

2、Commissioning    

（1）Before trial operation, recheck the system conditions and verify that the power supply voltage matches the nameplate.

（2）According to the instructions of the temperature controller, set the temperature values reasonably as per process requirements.

（3）The overheat protector of the electric heater has been set according to the explosion-proof temperature specification. No adjustment is needed.

（4）During trial operation, first open the pipeline valve, close the bypass valve, and exhaust the air inside the heater. Only start the electric heater after the medium is full. Note: Absolutely prohibit dry burning of the electric heater!

（5）Operate according to the instructions in the equipment's random drawings and documents, and record relevant data such as voltage, current, and temperature during operation. After 24 hours of trial operation without abnormalities, formal operation can be arranged.

3、Operation    

（1）Regularly inspect the equipment and wiring, enhance maintenance, and pay special attention to check for loose connections or overheating at contacts, terminals, and joints.

（2）Annually, perform calibration and verification of electrical parameters.

（3）Calibrate the thermal sensor and temperature control instrument once a year to ensure accurate values.

（4）If the equipment is shut down for a long period and then restarted or relocated, strictly follow items 1 and 2.
